My higher education has been a Bachelors of Science in the Allied Health Professions with an emphasis on the exercise sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Marquette University. I have worked as a personal trainer and massage therapist; and currently as a Physical Therapist as part of an interdisciplinary team (physicians, chiropractors and therapists) specializing in the treatment of the spine (Medical College of Wisconsin's SpineCare clinic).

My exploration of and personal growth through energy healing modalities began in 2007, first with Reiki (Usui Reiki Ryoho). Reiki continues to be a foundational personal practice for me, and I have been fortunate to study with inspiring Reiki Masters Amy Wilinski (Levels I through III with apprenticeship), William Lee Rand (ART & Level III) and Frans Stiene (on-going).

I have continued to pursue studies which I feel would help me to become a better practitioner in the service of our animal companions, including courses in small animal massage therapy and animal communication, as well as courses to better understand energetic support through the use of crystals and stones. Appreciation of a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to energetic healing for animals and their human companions has been nurtured through RAPHA while studying with Rose Koremenos and Polly Schellinger at the Healing Place Farm.

In 2011 it was my privilege and pleasure to study Healing Touch for Animals® Levels 1-4 as facilitated by Carol Komitor, Founder. In 2012 I attended further training with Carol through her Advanced Proficiency offering.
