Tammy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 1998. As a registered nurse, Tammy currently works in the behavioral health services sector., although her ultimate goal is to eventually become a full-time Healing Touch for Animals practitioner. She believes that HTA is very beneficial to the animals and their people and is excited to bring the program to the Birmingham area.

Tammy has one dog Bobby Dean who is the beneficiary of daily HTA. She also uses HTA on herself and co-workers.

“For me, HTA is like the sum of Science, Sacred and Spirit. Put it all together, it is art. It is where the healing happens. When I saw the response of the animals to the energy treatments, I knew that they were witnessing real healing. I was reminded of the healing potential available to each of us and the impact it can have in our lives.”
