As a Certified Healing Touch Instructor and Practitioner, Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Hospital Based Massage Therapist and Equine Sports Massage Therapist, Carol witnessed the powerful, often dramatic effects of energy-medicine on humans. Her thirteen-year background as a veterinary technician and her deep love for animals inspired her to develop energy-medicine techniques for animals. Her passion brought about a teaching that offers a cooperative model that bridges holistic animal healthcare with traditional veterinary medicine. The increasing popularity of the Healing Touch for Animals® / Komitor Healing Method, Inc. workshops and the growing body of testimonials affirm her convictions.
The
Healing Touch for Animals® Techniques have been developed
or adapted by Carol through study, practice and experiential knowledge.
She has combined her animal knowledge and experience with energy-based
healing through her studies with Healing Touch, CranioSacral Therapy,
Reiki, Light Body, aroma therapy, sound therapy, massage and private practice to develop
this program.
Carol runs an active Healing Touch and Healing Touch for Animals® practice in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Working with animals and people, approximately 75% of her clientele are cancer patients or critically ill and her practice includes distance healing. Carol has been teaching the people program of Healing Touch nationally since 1991 and has combined her Healing Touch knowledge and 13 years experience as a veterinary technician to develop Komitor Healing Method, Inc. and Healing Touch for Animals®.
After Carol Komitor founded Healing Touch for Animals®/Komitor Healing Method, Inc. in 1996, HTA workshops have been taught throughout the United States, in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, The Netherlands and in parts of Europe.
