Thank you for your interest in using Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA). I added HTA to my repertoire after it helped my horse Charlie during a volunteer session. He said it was very different from the many other energy healing techniques he had experienced. Several HTA classes were where my 2 horses boarded, so they helped train me and other students.

I offer Holistic Health Healing and Coaching for people and their furry family. My clients include cats and horses, also dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, chinchilla, chickens, and a cockatoo.

I became HTA Certified Practitioner #99 in 2013 and added Advanced Proficiency in 2014.

I am a Master of Tera Mai Seichem and Usui Reiki, trained in Level 2 Gentle Touch for Horses, and for People, Healing Touch Level 1, and Janna Moll’s Hara Workshop for Energy Medicine Specialists. I studied Jin Shin Jyutsu physic philosophy Basics, Depths and Spine.

I also use astrology, feng shui, SpiriTarot, flower essences, HTA Tuning Forks, essential oils, crystals, and homeopathics.

I call myself a “Wellness Concierge” for people and their animals. I offer a variety of products from Young Living Oils, Envy Organics, Dynamite Marketing, Touchstone Essentials, GIA Wellness, & Oxyfresh. I refer clients to recommended practitioners of other modalities as needed.

I view subtle energy healing modalities and holistic health as a part of the individual person or animal’s entire environment. It is a logical extension of my formal education. I have a Bachelor’s in Physics and American Studies from Dickinson College, and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of VA. For many years my career was in federal agencies and consulting firms dealing with environmental issues of air, water and land use.

My own health challenges and those of my cats and horses led me to expand my knowledge and use of holistic modalities such as acupuncture, chiropractic, and telepathic communication. I successfully used integrative medicine instead of chemotherapy and radiation, after a lumpectomy of my malignant tumor in 2007. And I am using similar techniques for my horse’s squamous cell carcinoma.

I organized scores of free public educational lectures on equine holistic health, and published numerous articles in national horse magazines (as Susan Rifkin Ajamian). American Horse Publications awarded 2nd place for my article about the complementary therapies I used to treat my horse’s cancer. My mentor and veterinarian, Judith M.Shoemaker, DVM, received the American Holistic Veterinary Medicine’s award for veterinarian of the year.

In 1979 I (finally!) got my first horse. I have had the privilege to work with several instructors trained in Centered Riding, including Wendy Murdoch, Peggy Cummings, Kim Walnes, and Francois L’Aumiere de Ruffieu. I earned a certificate from Chardy Shealy’s 5-day Equine Success-Centered Riding and Training. And was on the planning Committee for the 2nd International Symposium for Centered Riding.

My cats and horses and I live in northern Chester County, an hour west of Philadelphia. I will travel to clients and am very comfortable doing distant healing.

Best times to call or text are 9 am – 9 pm Eastern time.
